What Is The History of Pie For Life?

Pie For Life was established by Bill Finnegan, owner of Finetco, A Family of Lumberyards, in 2015. You see, a customer of Finetco had built a new kitchen with Coventry Lumber’s Kitchen Design Center and that next Thanksgiving, when friends and family were over and noticed the beautiful new kitchen, that customer raved about working with Finetco’s team so much that one of their friend’s asked them to refer them to Finetco to redo their kitchen. When Bill Finnegan got the call, and the story behind it, he got to thinking about this and Pie For Life was born! Bill felt that for every customer that remodels or builds a new kitchen with Finetco the company should give them all a Pie For Life every Thanksgiving to share in their new kitchen around their dinning room table. How Do I Get My Pie For Life Once I Am A Member?

Since 2015, every September and October our kitchen design team reaches out to all of the Pie For Life members to take their order for the pie of their choice. Typically we offer a choice of blueberry, apple or pumpkin pies but that is always subject to change. Finetco would love to make all these pies by hand ourselves, but with over 300 pies a year, we have a local farm do the baking!
Once the Pie For Life member places their pie order with one of our kitchen designers, we then share all of the details of how to get the pie prior to Thanksgiving! We try to make it all very simple and enjoyable!

How Do I Qualify To Be A Pie For Life Member?

Any new customer that purchases all cabinets, countertops and appliances from Finetco, A Family of Lumberyards, through any of our locations may ask to become a member. Your kitchen designer will confirm your membership and if you qualify when you build or remodel your kitchen with one of Finetco's locations.
